Expecting Fat Cat to lead Oberon at just a moderate tempo. THAT'S GOLD (1) was caught wide and went back last time out, and had no chance from where he was in a hot field here just over 2 weeks ago. He still ran stoutly that day, and in this field, he can be more positive early on, so stick with him on top. MISS ZIGGY (5) was a gritty winner at Ashburton last time out, and before that, she was racing in G1 company. She is as tough as they come, and Kylie Williams is making a rare appearance at racing headquarters, which is a good lead. Each way all day. EMPIRICAL (2) has been given a freshen up since winning his last start by a nose on a heavy track at Woodville in early November. Warren Kennedy picks up the ride, and the pair merits healthy respect. CHILLING OUT (7) was an impressive last start Ruakaka maiden winner, and she has the scope to continue to improve. Include. OBERON (3) failed to cop a shifty track at Tauranga last time out. Include him in all top 4 combos to be safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: That's Gold can win.
