SATOMINO ANGEL (9) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second when resuming last start over 1800m at this track. Super consistent type who has placed 2/4 this course and distance. Nicely placed to go one better. DU MAVERICK (5) returns from a spell of ten weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when fifth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Leading contender. ROSE MEISTER (12) finished 2.75 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in contention on the corner over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt, an improvement on his first-up seventh at this track the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. VOSNE ROMANEE (1) scored last start at Ohi to make it two wins from two starts this campaign. This is tougher but he is not to be underestimated.
