WONDERFUL NORTHERN (6) finished 8 lengths behind the winner in sixth over 2000m at this track last start after lifting strongly to score two back. Has a high cruising speed. Will play a major role. DAESEONG STAR (4) finished one length from the winner in second last start over 1800m at this track. Suited at the longer journey with the drop in weight and rates one of the main hopes. ECLAIR POWER (9) is back at the races for the first time since September 28. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1200m at this track. One to consider. EAST WEST (10) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 36 lengths away in 14th over 2300m at this track. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
