Poised to win after a narrow defeat last time. DERMA FUJI (3) returned from a spell eight weeks ago when he was in contention on the corner before being beaten 5 lengths into seventh over 2600m at Hakodate. Fitter and drawn far better this time. Worth another chance. MEISHO ROSE (7) is backing up seven days after finishing second over 2000m at this track. Good effort last start and should figure prominently. FLORENCE FUGA (5) finished 14 lengths away in 11th at his last appearance over 2000m at Hakodate on July 19. Looks to be in the right race to figure in the finish.
