Cracking tempo looks assured with many of these capable of pushing on early. BRENLYN'S LEGACY (2) had excuses first-up when finishing at the tail after jumping favourite over Big Day Out. Has been given a month between runs and is unbeaten over this track and trip. Parish reuniting is another good push. BIG DAY OUT (1) put two on the bounce to open the prep but found it a bridge too far last start when beaten just under 4L at Flemington. Much easier this time but he does have to lug the big weight. BRIAL ROSE (6) proved too strong last start over this track and trip. Goes well here and gets in light with the 2kg claimer sticking. Great chance to make it two on the bounce. STUPENDO (5) has been better in his last two but has to find a bit more to threaten the top few. Keatings taking over helps. METALLIC RULER (3) resumes and is a noted fresh performer. Best of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Brenlyn's Legacy to bounce back sharply.
