Liquid Les should spear straight to the front of the small field. TAVIS COURT (1) has been a durable veteran for some time, and it is safe to ignore his modest effort in the Opunake Cup just over 3 weeks ago. He is much better placed in this, and he can bounce straight back into the money here. LIQUID LES (5) did not get into it at New Plymouth off a wide draw there last start, but from a superior gate, he will be ridden more positively early on, and if he finds the front, he can take them all the way. SANDOKU (6) strips fitter after a fair effort fresh up for fourth at Hawera when needing the run. She can be a quick improver this time, so stick with her. THE ENTERTAINER (3) is back with her original trainer, and she comes to hand quickly. Include. WHEELITIN (4) has a home track advantage, and from the pole position, she will run another honest race. SUGGESTED PLAY: Liquid Les each way value.
