Reasonable tempo with Mad Spitfire probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. PRINCE OF BONDI (1) has been run down his past few over a shorter trip and steps out to the 1621m now where he's placed in both attempts. The inside draw should see him close to the speed from the outset and the visors replace the blinkers. Can notch up his maiden win in this suitable event. LORD MOMO (2) has been finishing strongly over 1400m, finishing nicely to miss by 2.6L last time when hitting the line alongside Prince Of Bondi. He jumped favourite there and now gets Faithfull on board for the new stable. Woulnd't surprise to see him sit closer and get the job done. MAD SPITFIRE (3) gets the 4kg claim on top again and that's a bonus as he rises in distance again today. Drawn ideally for Johnson and his recent form stacks up. Can feature in the finish. LEADER OF THE PACK (6) can improve in this event. RACY RASCAL (5) can bounce back to form stepping out to this track and trip again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prince Of Bondi can get the job done this time.
