RAINBOW STATE (3) settled well back before making steady ground in the straight last start to finish fourth, beaten 1.3 lengths, over this journey at this track. Can feature in the finish. BRANCH OUT (10) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 2.75 lengths away in third over 1800m at Kokura. Likely to be about the mark again.
