Leading player with plenty of improvement in store. STAR PLAY (9) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1000m at this track in a tougher race. Will benefit from that experience so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. BLITZ CARA (8) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when in the firing line on the turn, finishing 0.7 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1000m at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. K SOCKS (2) stepped out on his debut over 1000m at this track six weeks ago and finished sixth, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well.
