MORETON ISLAND (5) turned in a solid first-up effort at Tokyo then wasn't beaten all that far last time when sixth at Tokyo over 1600m. Stakes placed two back. Should be near her top. OPULENT JEWEL (6) is resuming from a break of 11 weeks for a new stable after finishing seventh over 2000m at this track at her latest outing. Goes well when resuming from a spell, including two minor placings from four starts. Among the winning hopes. ISKIOS (4) is back at the races for the first time since June 3. Scored over 1400m at Sonoda to launch the last campaign. Now under the care of new trainer Toru Kurita. Won three of last four on the NAR circuit. Worth plenty of thought.
