Abundant pace from Vitalism, Salto Veloce and Shinzen Noto vying for the lead with Shams Kukka on their backs. SALTO VELOCE (12) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 4.5 lengths from the winner in fifth at Hakodate over 1800m. Anticipating sharp improvement with the run under the belt. MARS ECLAIR (2) stepped out on his debut over 1600m at Tokyo seven weeks ago and finished eighth, beaten 12 lengths. Much better for that run and can get off the mark this time. VITALISM (8) finished midfield last start on debut over 1000m at Hakodate Dirt, beaten 6 lengths when well supported. Expected to run much better this time. SHINZEN NOTO (3) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start over 1000m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can take this out.
