Expecting The Cable Guy to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. THE CABLE GUY (7) goes on top. He's shown ability in two runs to date, second to a handy one on debut at Bendigo before an even effort there again over 1600m. Back slightly in trip looks fine and this looks a fair bit easier. FIOROWNGOOD (5) battled home for fourth, beaten a long way in horrible conditions at Warrnambool last time out but had been close up fresh at Geelong and should take holding out. WAR NO MORE (9) is struggling to break through. He was just fair last time at Coleraine but had been coming along well prior and is in the mix. HILL CRY (11) form to date hasn't been flash. Resumed last start and was beaten 4 lengths over 1200m at Murtoa. Fitter and next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Cable Guy to win.
