Flying Shelby to take the lead and control the tempo. SMOKIN' ROHIE (5) is racing consistently, albeit finding it very tough to win. He was sound enough at Swan Hill last time in a BM62 having placed in four runs prior, all in slightly tougher company than he finds here. Luca Remondet has never missed a place on him and is the only jockey to win, expect he's hard to hold out. DIGARI (2) was okay in the market at Murtoa. The run two back at Hamilton is good enough to figure prominently here. OCTAHEDRON (4) is the only last start winner in the field off a victory at Hamilton over 2200m. Doubt he has to do any more to notch up a double here. TUDAYA (6) was too bad to be true at Murtoa last time, form prior has him in the mix. HIGH CLASS ROLLER (7) ran well enough fresh and should improve up in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Smokin' Rohie on top.
