Strong pace as Sanono Tarumae pushes forward along with Maru Mori Active from an outside gate. DAIGO HOMARE RYU (4) got the prize two runs ago at this track. Safely held last time out when fifth over 1500m at Kawasaki, beaten 4 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a leading player. MARU MORI ACTIVE (12) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Looking to emulate her win at Nagoya to kick off the last campaign. Has ability and should be right in the finish. VALLUMNOS (6) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1400m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. SORCERESS (3) lines up for the first time since May 5. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1200m at Funabashi. Sure to make her presence felt.
