Pace a scorcher, headed by Desert Whisper, Snowdome and Puli, closely followed by Richanco and Twisted Steel. The feature is a cracker. OSCAR'S FORTUNE (1) is the class runner of the field, just missing in the Roma Cup and was solid in The Quokka last campaign. He flies first-up and comes into this off a similar campaign that saw him win fresh last campaign. Carries the big weight but he may just be too good. MADHI GIRL (13) is unbeaten at this track and trip and looks primed for a bolt showing with two trials under her belt. Pike sticking from her latest trial is a big push for her chances and this looks to set up beautifully for her. Gets in right down in the weights and she can return with a bang. TWISTED STEEL (16) won the Magic Millions 3YO before the break and stamped himself as a promising sprinter on the rise. The wide draw is a query, but he looks an exciting type on the rise and he can make a statement. JAZ SESSION (11) may be flying under the radar and is right in this on the form she showed last campaign. REPOSSESSION (5) can play a leading role on resumption. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oscar's Fortune gets the nod in the Beaufine.
