Anticipate Awhina, Just A Karin and Drop Of Something to set a strong tempo. DANCIN IN THE DARK (6) has won his only start here, and he will be peaking at the right time fourth up from a spell. He would be one that will hope for more rain on the day, and with conditions to suit him, he can turn his form around. BOSCH (5) has needed all of his 3 starts back from a spell, and he grows another leg when racing on his home track. A form reversal is on the cards. Can win. AWHINA (4) has struggled on some testing tracks recently, and if he strikes a reasonable surface here, then he can add to his 2 wins already on this track. Include in all top 4 combos. DROP OF SOMETHING (2) has raced his way into full fitness, and he usually holds his form when fit. He will find this easier than his last 3 starts, and with the aid of a 2kg claim, he will be right in the finish again. QUICK FIRE (3) has failed to fire in 3 starts this prep and gets his best draw in a while. Ignore his recent form, and don't risk him in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Dancin In The Dark, and Bosch are solid each-way hopes.
