Genuine tempo from Opaea Joe leading Our Sassie Anne. MISS ANNA LEE (6) is a very promising and lightly tried 5YO mare who ended her last campaign with a huge 4 and a half length win at New Plymouth last spring. She looks to be on target for a big year after winning a recent Foxton trial win last month, and she goes on top for us. JELLY ROLL (1) fought on courageously for third at Tauranga 2 weeks ago when following on from a super-tough win in BM60 company at Te Aroha. He will benefit from a 4kg claim this time, and he should be hard to hold out again. AMAZING SON (3) resumed and finished runner-up by a short-head at Woodville just over 3 weeks ago, and he has not missed a cheque in 2 starts in this course. He revels in heavy ground and should be right in the finish again. LIBRERO (4) needed the run badly fresh up at Woodville last time out over 1400m. Her record over 1200m is better, and she is worth another chance. TURN IT UP (8) won fresh up in her last campaign, and she will be ready to rumble fresh up in this. Don't risk her. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jelly Roll each-way.
