JO SALUTE (1) proved too strong last start and scored by 30 lengths over 1500m at this track. Boasts four wins here. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Rates as the one to beat. GO ON PURPOSE (5) went forward last start over 1500m at this track and held on well for third, beaten 4 lengths. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is sure to be right there at the finish. ECORO SVAR (10) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest eighth at this track over 1500m. Look for a better run this time out. BRILLANT AUBE (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1400m at Kawasaki. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
