GIOVANNA STAR (6) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at Bathurst, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has the class to figure prominently. HIMEROS (11) started at $6.50 last time and ran below expectations, finishing tenth over 1600m at Narromine. Won't find this as tough and can bounce back quickly. SPECIAL PROPHET (4) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 1800m at Wagga Riverside after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed here and a better run is expected. MOON ZONE (7) made late inroads after settling back from wide gate last start to finish sixth over 1200m at Dubbo. Has a low draw this time and can give this a shake. SUGGESTED PLAY: Giovanna Star looks hard to stop with the claim.
