A solid tempo on the cards with Digger heading them off. RIPPANALL (9) was well found in the market fresh up at Woodville where he peaked on his run late, finishing sixth. He can only improve his fitness second up, and in a modest field, he is good enough to take this out. BREADWINNER (11) showed plenty of talent early in his last prep, and she will be much stronger now. She has not had any public trials, but has attended jump-outs in her area, so there should be no fitness concerns fresh up. Her only win came here, so respect any market support. EXPLOSIVE IMPACT (5) was thereabouts last prep, and she has found it hard to win another race. A wide gate could be an advantage if the track is very heavy, and with the aid of a 4kg claim, she can make her presence felt. Follow any market moves. MARANELLO (1) caused a boil over fresh up for a new trainer at Woodville but did it with something in hand at the finish. Jonathan Riddell sticks with him, and so do we. DIGGER (2) is not the worst for top 4 combos at a price. SUGGESTED PLAY: Rippanall each-way value.
