GOING: S(7)

CLAAS HARVEST CENTRE TARANAKI 1400m

Track: SOFT7     True

Tactical given the lack of speed. HE'S LUCID (4) has Lisa Allpress in the saddle which is a strong lead for his return. He has been sharpened up with a recent trial, and if he is anywhere near right, then he can take care of this field. Watch the market closely. EXAGGERATION (1) will be peaking after having 2 runs on the poly track at Awapuni, and there should be no reason why he can't cope with a turf track here. Stick with him on an each-way basis. KERETI (2) made the most of a good ride when winning on the Awapuni poly track nearly 3 weeks ago, and he won on the turf at Whanganui 2 starts before his latest winning effort. Include in all top 4 combos. SANDOKU (5) resumes from a decent spell with one trial late last month under his belt. Let the market be the best guide. SUGGESTED PLAY: He's Lucid is a winning hope.
