Strong pace from Pierroplane and Moana's Fortune matching motors with Papal Wars close at hand. PIERROPLANE (4) is a progressive gelding who has built nicely into his debut prep. Was sent straight to town off a dominant Port Augusta win and has just been nudged out late. At his top now and is drawn to advantage. Is sure to take some catching from the front. TOTTORI (9) is on the rapid turnaround after being safely held at the midweeks. Is drawn much kinder this time and gets weight off. SERINITE ILLUSION (5) hasn't looked likely in his two runs back but has been warming late and the form around him is solid. Strips fitter on the quick back-up and already boasts a win over this track and trip. Can improve sharply. MOANA'S FORTUNE (1) returns and strips fitter for a handful of jumpouts. Has enough pace to offset the sticky draw and should give backers a sight. JANDAMI (3) was sent out equal public elect but just tacked on in behind them when resuming off nearly a year's break at Bordertown. Will appreciate stepping out further and is a likely improver with that run under his belt. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pierroplane to win.
