Divine Bene should spear straight to the front of the small field. Another race decimated by scratchings. CLOSE ENCOUNTER (4) has posted neat-looking numbers in a productive winter campaign. Back in grade with a kind draw can keep producing more of the same. DIVINE BENE (6) is normally a reliable gelding but he was well below par last time when seventh over 1400m at Warwick Farm. Worth another chance here. PRINCESS CRUIZER (5) was well held second up after finishing fifth when resuming over 1200m at this track. Fitter and can do much better this time. TIWI GIRL (8) returns from a break and will be fitter for a recent trial at Gosford. Has won on a heavy track previously and is worth consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Close Encounter win.
