Anticipating good pressure with many of these facing the starter for the first time. PELLARGO (2) finished close up in fifth place at Ellerslie 3 weeks ago, following on from a sound fourth there on debut. He looks to be very well placed in this, especially with Michael McNab in the saddle, and only a wide gate is against him. On top for us. LATOYA (10) may want further, but she looked good when doing what she had to when winning a recent trial. A wide gate is against her, but her stable knows how to get their team ready to rumble. Watch the market moves. SCRITTORE (4) won his latest trial very easily, and he has the draw advantage over the top 2 picks, which makes him one of the hardest to beat. SUMMIT RENDEZVOUS (6) battled away for sixth on debut, and he would have learned a lot from that experience. He drops 2.5kg for this and has top 3 claims. URCHELLA (8) is a locally trained filly who won a recent trial at Avondale. She showed enough in her initial prep to say she can make her presence felt fresh up in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Latoya each-way.
