GRAND CRU (9) ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 1400m at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Has her share of talent. May be hard to beat in this suitable race. SOAP STONE (2) was out of the money last start over 1400m at this track but was only beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth. Draws for a good showing. STRAIGHT (4) ran below her best last start after meeting with market support but draws better so may be worth another chance.
