PALACE GIFT (6) was well in commission when resuming last start over 1000m at Kenilworth but could only manage fourth, although only 2.75 lengths from the winner. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Winner this class two back. Fitter and well worth following up. BLACK ERIKA (3) finished third two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a nose as public elect over 1000m at Kenilworth. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. RUBY REX (4) scored an overdue maiden win last time out, getting home by 1.3 lengths over 1000m at Kenilworth. Progressive filly off the mark last time. This harder but has upside and will take catching. WILLIAM'S WOMAN (1) finished third last time over 1000m at Kenilworth when resuming from a spell, beaten 2 lengths. Likely improver with winning claims.
