Common Touch should find the front with Bannered and Jimmy Angel on his heels. COMMON TOUCH (6) has been very impressive this time in, leading and bolting in at Bunbury and Pinjarra most recently. The inside draw today is a big tick and Fiore knows him well. This is tougher, but he's on an upward trajectory and he can bring up the hat-trick. DEEP LYRIC (10) was thrown into the deep end on debut and she stood up, beaten in a photo finish over 1000m in this grade. Pike sticks with her and things look to pan out similarly for her out in distance. She looks to have good ability and with natural improvement on the cards, she'll be hard to hold out. HEAVEN SPECIFIED (8) resumes today with a nice trial under his belt behind Watto's Mark who won last campaign. He's now with the Andrews stable and his figures at the end of last campaign stack up. Jumped favourite in this company before the break and can fire on resumption. DELTASON (1) is building toward a win and can't be discounted third-up. MARDUSA (2) can resume on a positive note. SUGGESTED PLAY: Common Touch can win again.
