Moderate tempo headed by Belles Boom. BRIDIE (4) progressed nicely to score at just her third start when scoring by a neck at New Plymouth nearly a month ago. She is beautifully placed again after a 4kg claim, and she will go close to repeating. CAPACI (2) likes it wet, and she put it all together to score comfortably at Whanganui 4 weeks ago over this trip. She will continue to race well while the tracks remain wet, and she has each-way claims again. BELLES BOOM (1) did well to finish third off a wide gate at Whanganui last start, and he is peaking at the right time here. A superior gate and an extra 240m make him a big top 3 hope again. IKAN (6) is not the worst when considering wider options for top 4 combos. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bridie can win again.
