Slick pace with Eighty Light Years finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. LUCKY RANGER (5) was very strong late on debut when the race favourite after trialling well leading in. He was 1.8L off the winner there and he's turned in a nice trial since. The wide draw is a niggle, but he will benefit from the debut experience and he can land the knockout blow this time. ABSOLUTE HONOUR (10) is inching towards a drought breaking win, missing by 0.3L last time out at this track and trip. He's now 585 days between drinks, but this sets up perfectly for him and he can go one better today. TOP TIME (1) was just fair last start at this track and trip and didn't really make any ground late in the race. Likely to get back here but he rates highly on his best form and he's not to be discounted. AEROVOLANIC (3) is better than we saw last time out and can get back to his best.
