Genuine tempo from Spirit booting up from an inside draw to join Loving Prague and Nightrain up front. SPIRIT (1) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1200m at this track. Finds a nice race and gets chance for an overdue win. MAURITIUS KESTREL (3) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Likely to be there at the finish again. AZZURRI (9) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when half a length away in second over 1200m at this track when he was prominent throughout. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. LOVING PRAGUE (12) turned in a fine effort to win by 3 lengths at today's course and distance last time out to build on a solid first-up effort. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
