Expecting Mr Zeus to set a genuine tempo after crossing from wide out. GLOUF (2) never looked likely fresh when missing the kick over the 900m burner at Murray Bridge but picked up strongly late to grab fourth. Will relish the rise to 1200m, though will likely get back again from a wide draw. Watch for him launching late. WORD GAME (12) couldn't get the job done as fav last week but was strong late to finish a close second. Backs up quickly and keeps Holder. Big chance to go one better. POWER DANCER (5) was good here fresh when sitting on speed and just missing late. Less effective last time when ridden quieter but did make some late inroads. Blinkers go on to sharpen him up third-up. SUNGAZER (6) makes his stable debut for the Bain & Taylor partnership. Showed some good signs in his debut prep and has trialled well in readiness. Can make his presence felt. SUGGESTED PLAY: Glouf each-way.
