Only a small field with Cosentino likely to find a comfortable lead. SINDEE (3) has been a beaten favourite in both of her starts back from a spell, and though she is up in class, she will only face 4 other runners. She has won twice on this track and should get the job done this time. Follow your money. HERBERT (1) has been freshened up since his last start for sixth at Waverley just over 8 weeks ago. He is unbeaten in 2 starts here, and the small field offers him a great chance to find some good form again. COSENTINO (2) has been racing well in some tougher company recently, and he will be at his peak fitness fourth up from a spell. He will relish the extra 140m and can take this out. BASEL WARRIOR (5) let down with a powerful finish to score by well over 2 lengths at Te Rapa 3 weeks ago. A repeat of that run takes him close again. DUNEAGLE (4) has won here, and sometimes in small fields, it is the outsider who wins. Not for us, but can't be totally left out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sindee to win.
