PIKO ARGYLE (2) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish second. Has the pace and the right draw to find a good early position. Fitter and will take catching. ASK KENTUCKY (7) is a promising galloper who won at his last run before a break nine weeks ago over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt. Has a very strong record first-up including two wins. Should be poised just off the lead. Will play a major role. VIVA CROWN (12) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 2.25 lengths over 1200m at this track. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. TOKAI ERDE (1) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was beaten 4.5 lengths into ninth over 1200m at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
