Leica Ace should find the front with Merchant Banker and Carlow on her heels. LEICA ACE (4) resumes from a long spell for a new stable who have had her at the trials twice to get ready for her return. On what she showed early in her career, she should be the one to beat in this, if she doesn't need the hit-out. MERCHANT BANKER (1) is very quickly running out of chances for us, but he has the pole position this time, and he will have few better chances than this to break through. CARLOW (2) was runner-up on debut and then put aside to mature. He resumes without a trial, but the Latta stable normally has them ready to rumble fresh. EBONY BASSETT (7) made an encouraging debut at Woodville, and she does not have to improve by much to be a top 3 hope in a field like this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leica Ace if ready should be winning.
