HOTELIERS CHALLENGE RATING 65 1200m Track: AW True |

---|---|---|---|---|
Miss Starlight is expected to burn across and lead from the wide draw. CAPE HORN (3) managed to put it all together and show his true ability when arriving just in time to score by a head here 4 weeks ago. He still has plenty to learn, but will only improve with racing, and can take the next step immediately. MARKET PLACE (1) has been racing well this prep on the Cambridge poly track, finishing third over 970m there earlier last month. He is down in class, and a 4kg claim will help reduce his top weight. Each way claims in this. BLUE VEIN (2) forced the pace here nearly a fortnight ago and only wilted late to finish fourth. He has a better draw this time, and his next win is not far away. MISS STARLIGHT (12) was an impressive maiden winner on debut before being put aside to mature. She cops another wide draw and does have some growing up to do, but on natural talent, she will be among the hardest to beat, if her mind is on the job. JACK ATTACK (6) was close up in third here 4 weeks ago and he carries 4kg less this time. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cape Horn has plenty of scope and should get the job done again.
