Although on a small field the presence of some first starters should ensure a solid clip. Tricky race to open but leaning to WASHINGTON LILAC (6) who debuts for the Moody & Coleman yard. She's a filly by Snitzel who has had plenty of jumpout experience, winning one. This doesn't look the deepest metro race and the booking of Blake Shinn is a strong lead. MOLVENO (4) is a filly by I Am Immortal on debut for the McEvoy yard who has been jumping out well, not far away in a recent Ballarat Synthetic heat. Tipping she runs well. SUPERGRACE (5) was just fair when last seen at Geelong, in the market thee but fading to finish seventh. She's jumped out well since and could be an improver. HIGHABOVEME (3) was well fancied on debut at Geelong, struggling there when getting back from an inside gate. Loathe to write off anything from the Grahame Begg yard. CENSORI (2) is a filly by Russian Camelot who has jumped out well enough to be a factor. SUGGESTED PLAY: Washington Lilac on top.
