Strong pace from Navigli, Hard Leaf and Totemo Hayai. YES I BELIEVE (5) has been poor at his last two starts but he is better than that. If you take him on trust and back him to replicate his earlier form, including a 6L maiden win, then he's a big chance to atone here. BE RESPONSIBLE (1) was a strong maiden winner on debut then wasn't disgraced in a stronger contest in town last start. Drawn low and can race handy with the 3kg claim. Suspect he will be in the money. STOKOMO (2) is racing well without winning. He's got to lug the big weight but Todd Pannell sticks, which is a plus. DODD (8) was below his best last time when sixth over 1250m at this track. Look for an improved run here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Yes I Believe to win.
