Just a moderate tempo without an obvious speed influence. The powerful Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable with a strong hand in the small field. LAWS WARS (4) looks the pick, having been placed in both of his starts to date. The good draw and the step to 1250m should allow him to settle closer than last start, where he got back and hit the line. Toeroek sticks and he looks the one to beat. OUI OUI MA CHERIE (7) was tried in some feature races last campaign and was far from disgraced. This looks easier and expecting she can be around the mark fresh. The other Jolly runner KALMANA (3) stuck on well last time and can give plenty of cheek here, while ELEGANT LILLY (6) and ASHREIGN (1) also warrant consideration out of that same race at Murray Bridge.
