Reasonable tempo with French Fille probably leading but a few others should keep her honest. RESERVED (4) was a beaten favourite here over a mile last start and has not been helping himself by making slow starts recently. He is likely to go back from a wide gate this time, but won't be bottled up on the fence, which will allow him to make an uninterrupted run when needed. Follow your money in this modest contest. ROYAL ASSENT (8) is an ex-North Island-trained mare who was runner-up here when resuming from a spell nearly 2 weeks ago. She will only continue to improve with racing and should pick up her first win at short notice. NAVY ICON (1) has turned a corner since joining the Clint Isdale stable. He handles both of the poly tracks in the North Island, and deserves to go one better in this. SIR SIGARO (2) stuck on gamely here last time out and has Michael McNab in the saddle this time. Stick with him from a good gate.
