Lasting Legacies has the pace to lead in what is likely to be a moderate tempo. TRIPLE THE CHANT (7) landed midfield and was far too good over the mile at Northam last time out, winning comfortably when right in the market. He's expected to be back from the wide alley, though he was just simply too good last time out. Can go back-to-back in this suitable event. WESTCOAST EXPRESS (12) dropped right back in trip last start and was very good, clocking some good splits late when beaten 1.2L. Up to the mile now looks a good move and he should get a similar run in transit. Can go one better without surprising. ROMANTIC RULER (2) got the job done narrowly two back before a 1.5L defeat last start at Northam. The wide draw is a query, though he'll love the sting out of the ground and he won't be far away. LASTING LEGACIES (5) was too good at Kalgoorlie last start and he rates well off that performance. WHO SAZ YES (10) is not to be discounted off her recent performances. SUGGESTED PLAY: Triple The Chant can repeat the dose.
