GOING: G(4)

THE GIBSON Class 3 Handicap - WEIGHTS RAISED 2.0 2040m

Track: GOOD4   Clear (Max: 22)   Rail: +5.5m Entire.

Okesutora should lead and control the tempo. MISS CHENERY (4) has hit the top-five at her past six outings and looks to be building up to another victory. Handles all going and boasts a win around this circuit. Respect from the Waller yard. AKKADIAN EMPEROR (2) has been thereabouts in recent NSW outings and should find this assignment a touch easier. Strips fitter third-up from the break and is sure to be right there at the business end. TAMBOURINE MAN (5) went down by the narrowest of margins over this course and distance at the latest effort and rates a genuine top-three candidate on that run. Former Victorian OKESUTORA (3) looked good saluting at Rockhampton in the first run for the new stable and gets plenty of weight relief with the 3kg claim. Can go back-to-back. BRIGHT THE SUN (8) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 4,2,5,3.
