Genuine tempo with the speedy Giannis leading the way. GRAEME JOHN (1) tried hard in his first start from the Walsh stable when finishing runner-up here nearly a fortnight ago. The step up to 1200m to 1400m will suit him, and he will pick up a race for his new connections shortly. RAGHALLAIGH (4) has not had much luck since winning his maiden here in May. He starts from the pole position this time, and a form reversal is on the cards. Each way value in a modest contest. GIANNIS (6) let up and gave a good sight before being run down late to finish third. She has a tougher draw here, but is down in grade, and he normally holds his form when fit. GOLDEN HARVEST (7) is a durable veteran who is proving to be hard to catch. His recent form has been over 1200m, and maybe the step up to 1400m could help him. Include in all combinations to be safe. LADY MOANA (10) has been thereabouts in the North Island and has the blinkers on for her South Island debut. Don't risk her in this field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Raghallaigh for some each-way value.
