Not much early pressure but Triple Barrel, Ayasan Dream and Irie's Pachira can take up forward spots. TRIPLE BARREL (6) did little and finished 8 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt last start after being in the firing line on the turn, a less impressive effort than his first-up sixth at Niigata Dirt the run before. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is likely to play a big role. VERDARIO (2) is a four-start maiden who could only manage to finish 13th at his latest appearance over 2000m at Fukushima after he got a long way back in the run. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. AYASAN DREAM (10) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when eighth over 1500m at this track. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. IRIE'S PACHIRA (9) improved last time out, finishing one length from the winner in second at the end of 1500m at this track. Well placed and can figure in the finish again.
