Peecee Pussycat should lead and control the tempo. OCEAN LIGHT (1) remained unbeaten on the poly track here when scoring by a short-head 4 weeks ago over this trip. He steps up to open grade here, but in reality, the field is no tougher than last time. He carries the same weight and is the one to beat again. IDENTIKIT (4) made it 2 wins on the bounce with a game victory at Hawera just over 3 weeks ago. She is nicely weighted and does cope with the Awapuni poly track with no problems. The hat-trick beckons. BEAU BRUMMELL (5) was just over a length behind the top pick when fifth here last time out. The blinkers are back on, and he is better off at the weights this time. He is quite capable of winning this. CARISBROOK (9) is a durable ex-Victorian veteran who was runner-up at Pakenham on their poly track just over 7 weeks ago. That form is good enough for this assignment, and he is sure to have his admirers. HE'S A BATTLER (6) hails from the Suzy Gordon Foxton stables but has been domiciled here for his last couple of starts. Each way. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ocean Light is the one to beat again.
