Only a small field with Express Payment likely to find a comfortable lead. JONNY DA WOLF (2) worked hard at Doomben last start, and after hitting the front at the distance, he was claimed late, finishing fifth. He will be suited by a wet track and can bounce straight back into the money. EXPRESS PAYMENT (1) likes to race on the pace and should secure a run to suit here after drawing the pole position. If the track is not too cut up on the inside, then he can figure in the finish. Stick with him. KIRIKAN (6) has found it hard to win another race and has transferred back to the Queensland arm of his training operation. He drops back to a mile and is worth including in all multiples. TIGON PRINCESS (10) was back in form at the Gold Coast last start and won't mind dropping back to a mile on a heavy track. Each way. SHE'S GOT VEUVE (9) has raced her way back into form and is capable of taking this out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jonny Da Wolf to win.
