A wet track will suit him, and he has solid each-way claims in an even lineup. WINCHMAN (8) was beaten by a neck as favourite at Kilcoy just over 3 weeks ago and will be well-conditioned for a wet track. Hard to beat this time. NO BRAKES (5) has been in the money in both of his starts this year and will be peaking third up. He gives top trainer Tony Gollan a strong hand in this field. RUINS OF ROME (12) is back from a five-month spell. Placed at the only two runs of his maiden prep and should return in a positive manner. STARSONUS (6) resumes from a spell and is sure to be well supported in the market. SUGGESTED PLAY: Winchman each-way.
