Solid tempo with Simply Rosso possessing enough dash to find the front. PACIFIC LADY (6) was a touch disappointing first-up at Narrogin when beaten 1.5L after jumping the $2.60 favourite. This is the same grade today and she now gets CJP in the saddle from an inside barrier. Looks set for a bold effort. EXPOROSE (9) has finished in the placings to begin this campaign and she's a third-up winner in the past. Needs a touch of luck from the barrier, but Campbell sticks with her and a repeat of her latest effort will see he go close. SIMPLY ROSSO (1) hasn't been far away in stronger company so far this campaign, beaten 3.1L over 1000m here. Up in trip now, but ZJP claims three and he should get his chance. TIME CONNECTION (8) is still a maiden galloper but bumped into a smart one last start and the form out of that has been good. Up in trip looks to suit and she won't be far away. PRETTY DEVINE (3) just missed last start and has to be included. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pacific Lady can return to winning ways.
