Solid tempo with Yamanin Brighten to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. GRAY STORM (5) was far too good first up last start when he scored by 5 lengths over 1300m at this track. Was a winner at the only previous second-up run and is clearly the one they have to beat. LOVE BEACH (6) finished out of the money when fifth in a 1300m contest at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Suitably placed and anticipating a better run this time. FUKUNO LUKKA (3) was well in commission last start over 1300m at this track when fourth. Sound record at this distance with three wins and six minor placings from 13 runs and is expected to run well. ACROPOLIS (4) improved last start but found one better over 1300m at this track. No surprise to see him in the frame.
