BRILLANT AUBE (3) looks to kick off this prep the way he ended the last three-and-a-half months ago when he scored over 1500m at this track. Should be in this for a long way. ANOTHER MATE (4) went fast early and went on to score by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1500m at this track. Taking on a better line-up this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. MISTERIO (2) started at $3.90 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 6 lengths, at Kawasaki over 1500m. Seiji Yamazaki stays aboard. Capable of running a bold race. SUN SALANG (5) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing ninth and beaten 37 lengths. Worth another chance.
