Key chance here and looks tough to beat again. CORNEILLE D'OR (6) finished out of the money when 14th in a 1200m contest at Kokura five-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackling a more suitable race this time and is sure to be prominent. VIL'KEN (4) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when fourth at this track over 1500m. Settles back early but winds up late. In the mix. SHORYU MASARU (11) was seventh in a 1700m contest at this track last time out. Best efforts measure up and worth another chance.
